Update (March 11th): So, we're going to postpone the contest for a bit. Huh? Why? Well, we're working on social features in our app wrapper that will be integrated with VixML. Very cool stuff. You'll be able to invoke these features with a few lines of VixML markup, rather than having to work through a ton of Objective-C. We've floated these concepts to a bunch of folks & they love 'em. So, after much internal discussion, we decided hold off on the contest until the summer so that the contest entries can take advantage of the upcoming features.
My apologies for shifting gears mid way through the contest. However, in the meantime, you can still roll with your ideas for iPhone apps using the existing VixML toolkit. Send 'em over to me and we'll iterate on them and get them into the App Store. You can still make $$ the old fashioned way: downloads of your apps from the App Store!
