Using VixML, you can create rich content for the Viximo App Network. Our
Getting Started guide provides all the information to get you up and running and able to create VixML content on your Mac.
Preview on the iPhone
In order to preview your first creation on the iPhone, we need to provision you a custom version of the vxEngine that runs on the iPhone. To do this, please follow these steps:
- Create a content piece that you feel meets the acceptance criteria for Viximo iPhone apps (see Viximo App Network and TrueFlirt for details those apps & acceptance criteria).
- Using the export feature in the vxEngine on the desktop, create a Vix Bundle (save it locally with the .vix extension). The .vix bundle should have exactly the same name as the folder it is being created from.
- Find your iPhone's UDID number (instructions available here
)
- Email the .vix bundle and your UDID number to jon.klein+vixml@viximo.com
Once we receive your .vix bundle, we will:
- review your work based on our content criteria & provide you feedback as quickly as we can
- if content meets our standards, we'll provision you an iPhone vxEngine & send it to you
Submitting Content to Viximo
Once you've created your content & previewed it on your iPhone, you can submit it to us. To do this:
- create a Vix Bundle of your creation (use the "export" feature in the desktop vxEngine)
- Email the .vix bundle to jon.klein+vixml@viximo.com
When you're ready to submit the final application, you will need to provide the following before the application can be submitted to the iPhone App Store:
- Title (check that it fits on the iPhone screen before submitting)
- 500 Word App Description
- 512x512 High quality application icon and 57x57 application icon
- Representative screenshots (3)
- Designer name (your name or your company's name)
